Firehooks Pike Pole, FDNY 6' Length

Fiberglass Pike Pole: A strong, conventional hook for quick and effective removal of ceilings, walls, moldings, door and window frames. This is the standard pike pole of the New York City Fire Department. A redesign of the pike pole used by this department for over 100 years; we lightened, shortened, fluted and streamlined this tool to make it the best of it's type. The choice of materials makes this hook unique. The New York standard is of maleable iron. We have also developed a material as strong as iron but as light as aluminum.

This pike pole has 6' length, yellow fiberglass with ash core, ram knob, celtex grips and maleable iron head.
