NAFECO Announces Leadership and Management Changes

(Decatur, AL - December 8, 2022) - NAFECO is proud to announce that we are strengthening our team here in our headquarters by introducing these leadership and management changes effective Monday 12/05/22.
Darlene Bowers, Director of Customer Sales and Support. Darlene will be responsible for all customer service functions of the NAFECO organization. Darlene will direct the NAFECO customer service, inside sales, fire extinguisher service, apparatus service, Atlanta and Orlando office, and Teams. Darlene began her career at NAFECO in December 1999 working at our front counter/customer service desk. She moved to customer service supervisor in 2007 and became Customer Service Team Lead in 2015. She has been an integral part of implementing and improving internal processes while maintaining a great culture within her Team. Congratulations to Darlene!
Jeremy Terry, Operations and Facilities Director. Jeremy will be responsible for day-to-day operations at our Decatur campuses. Jeremy will direct the NAFECO logistics, purchasing, and custom room Teams. He will also be responsible for the facilities at our Decatur campuses and work with our Richmond, Atlanta, and Orlando offices on facility-related maintenance and improvements. Jeremy began his career at NAFECO in February 2009 in shipping/receiving. He moved to warehouse supervisor in 2012 and to Logistics Team Lead in 2015. Thank you Jeremy for your passion to be the Best at what you do, Congratulations to Jeremy!
Brian Oaks, Director of Finance and Human Resources. Brian began his NAFECO career in July of 1987. He was one of the few Team members at our Decatur headquarters at that time and handled most of NAFECO's customer service duties. Over his career, he has been a part of different aspects of customer service, accounting, purchasing, logistics, and HR so his role developed into Director of Operations in 2010. During his time as Director of Operations, he has been responsible for all Team Lead positions at our Decatur, Atlanta, and Orlando offices. With over 30 years of experience, we are excited to have Brian focus on day-to-day financials for NAFECO and continue to lead the human resources segment of NAFECO. Congratulations to Brian!
