Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) or experienced Automotive/Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The primary focus of this role is performing diagnostics, routine maintenance, repairs, and specialized upfits on a variety of emergency response vehicles, including electrical and specialty equipment installation. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly professional, and committed to maintaining the highest safety and quality standards in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect, diagnose, and accurately document potential issues and necessary repairs on emergency vehicles.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance, scheduled service, and complex mechanical repairs on a diverse fleet of emergency vehicles.
• Execute specialized upfits and upgrades, including the installation of a variety of emergency equipment such as electrical systems (12v and 120v), LED lighting, sirens, push bumpers, and interior/exterior specialized gear.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate service and repair records using established systems.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, providing status updates and technical explanations.

This role requires precision, technical skill, and a keen eye for detail to ensure that each item meets the required quality standards and design specifications.

• Set up and operate heat press machines to apply designs to textiles and other materials.
• Adjust temperature, pressure, and timing settings according to specific production requirements.
• Load and position items accurately on the heat press machine.
• Read and interpret design files, production orders, and specifications.
• Prepare and position transfer materials, such as vinyl or sublimation transfers, onto the substrate
• Monitor the heat press process to ensure proper application of designs.
• Inspect finished items for adherence to quality standards and design specifications.
• Identify and address any issues such as misalignment, incomplete transfers, or defects.
• Perform routine checks to ensure consistent and high-quality output.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of heat press machines to ensure optimal performance.
