Key Fire Hose
Key Hose: Hose Built for the Fireground
Key Hose manufactures high-quality fire hose for the American Fire Service, including fire attack, LDH, and forestry. Every handline attack package is designed for a specific job, built around two things: how much water you need to flow and the pressure you want to operate at.
The TRU-ID 2.25 is built with EPDM rubber construction and a true 2.25" internal diameter, designed for 265 GPM with a 1⅛" smooth bore or a 265@50 fog nozzle. It started out as a standpipe hose, but its low-pressure, high-flow performance has made it a popular replacement for 2.5" crosslays. It's lighter, more maneuverable, and carries less water weight.
The Combat Sniper is a nitrile PVC hose with a 1.78" internal diameter, built for 150 to 185 GPM at higher pressure. It's become the industry standard for good reason: it packs well on the rig and is forgiving for the nozzleman, the backup firefighter, and the pump operator.
Key Hose also offers Education Is Key, a training program for fire departments that covers hose construction, how each model is built to perform at its rated flow, and what you'll feel when the water starts moving.
