Job Summary: The Logistics Team Lead is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate processing of orders. This role involves overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.

Coordinate and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, quality control, deliveries and shipping of products.

Work with the Inventory Specialist to monitor inventory levels and dead inventory to ensure inventory integrity.

Ensure that all products are handled, stored, and shipped in accordance with quality standards and safety regulations.

Control the floor. Always know who is doing what task, make sure team members stay productive and on task, address problems immediately, keep workflow moving and prevent unnecessary downtime.

Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall warehouse operations.

Communicate Problems Early. Inform VP of Ops of staffing problems, operational issues, or delays. Report process problems, and ask for support when needed rather than waiting.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and promote a culture of safety among team members.

Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse operations, such as order accuracy, turnaround time, and productivity.

Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team or with warehouse operations in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or equivalent..
-
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations.

Strong leadership and team management skills; excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS); good problem-solving and communication skills.

Ability to operate a forklift, as needed.

Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and work in a warehouse environment.
